今日は頻繁にエントリー。
さっきラジオで流れていた『Have you ever seen the rain?』昔から好きな歌ではあるけども、意味はわからない。
久しぶりに聞いたので検索してみた。
なんだか、ポップなメロディなのに、悲しいというか、不安というかそんな雰囲気の漂う楽曲。僕はてっきりHave you ever seen the rain?というところの『雨』が題材だからもの悲しいのだろうと勝手に解釈していました。
ところがこの曲は、その当時アメリカでは放送禁止になったそうです。

音楽を作る人と、それを聞く人がいて、作った人の思いが伝わらなければ意味がないのかもしれない。
本当は、作った人の思いは無関係で、聞く人の受け取ったものだけがすべてなのかもしれない。
だから、聞く側の人間は相手が何を言いたいのか一生懸命聞かなくちゃいけない。伝える側は相手に伝わるように歌わなくちゃならない。
